Types of Baby Security Monitors

Some baby monitors come equipped with a digital security camera that shows video footage on the receiver, these are called baby security monitors or baby video monitors. The digital camera in the baby camera monitor works similar method to web cams, and some baby monitors allow the receiver to be plugged into a television.
Duplex baby monitors are (bi-directional), using transceivers that allow the caregiver to communicate back to the baby. Such monitors are sometimes are equipped with video, then they are known as baby video monitor and 2 way sound monitor.
There are some baby security monitors that are equipped with motion detection cameras on the transmitter allowing it to warn caregiver the baby is awake or there is a possible problem.
The monitor that checks the babies’ heartbeat is known as baby heart monitor or baby heartbeat monitor.
